Palm Springs International Film Festival

Months ago, Steve and I decided we just had to attend the Palm Springs International Film Festival (PSIFF).

Launched in 1990, the PSIFF is a premier presenter of world cinema. The Festival brings together a sophisticated and diverse audience, including industry, film aficionados from across the country, and filmmakers from around the world.
Being a slight cinephile, I've been able to attend the festival before. This was Steve's first foray and I believe he is hooked.
We could not have chosen better! With our love of France (particularly Paris), art, history, and different centuries, Colours of Time delighted both of us on so many levels. "Brought together by the unexpected inheritance of an abandoned house in Normandy, four cousins, previously strangers, discover a mysterious shared past. Two centuries earlier, Adèle Munier, their ancestor and owner of the house, left her rural home for Paris in search of her mother's identity, at the heart of the city's modernization and the rise of Impressionism. As her descendants follow in her footsteps, they unravel Adèle's past to forge their own future. Two intertwined periods collide, as the family members' contemporary perspectives are pitted against the fascinating reality of 19th-century Paris."
After being spellbound for 2 hours and 4 minutes, we were asked to submit an Audience Choice Ballot. From what I could see, everyone left an excellent review. Wow.
There was more to our Palm Springs day. I wanted to share this particular piece of fabulous for now. We are truly living our best life.
