The Great Junk Hunt...

While Julie and I were in Palm Springs, we learned of this local event and we knew we had to embark on The Great Junk Hunt.

The adventure could not begin without first gathering sustenance at Parlor Doughnuts in Oceanside.
"The Great Junk Hunt is a round up of curated vendors selling their best goods, plus no party is complete without cocktails, live music and aisles of junkin' treasure. Discover farmhouse, industrial, vintage, re-purposed, handmade and much more."
The gloomy day was just perfect for an indoor scavenger hunt!

The gals who organized this event really know their audience as photo opportunities were plentiful.
And the items for purchase were varied and, at times, quite odd. What an interesting way to spend a morning!

Who, of a certain age, didn't have this photo album?

After we had exhausted ourselves with the hunt, we headed to the beach for lunch, thrift store shopping, and even an estate sale. While we came home with only a few treasures, the search was quite entertaining.
