CA State Parks Pass at the Library...

Calling all Californians! You can now check out a FREE California State Parks  pass at your local public library.

A new pilot collaboration between State Parks and California State Libraries is providing free passes to every public library throughout the state. Library patrons can check these out and use them for free vehicle day-use access to parks across the state.

How amazing is this, especially when an annual State Parks pass is $195? Each library location has received passes, including mobile libraries, for checkout. Library patrons are able to check out the pass for the allotted number of days allowed by the local library (ours is two weeks).
We'll be heading to Anza-Borrego Desert State Park soon. We are so very ready. I 💗 Libraries!

and spring after the winter."

We have taken advantage of this a few times. And each time we do I am thankful there is one to check out! I guess it depends on where you live if the library has them available (meaning that they aren't already checked out). Someone in Anza Borrego said the state park passes are always out.
