The Road to Tahoe: Part 2

We awoke (wait, did we sleep?) to high winds and low temps as our idyllic camping spot proved to be a cold, restless night.

We should know better than camping in the Sierras in November.

That said, the drive to Tahoe was scenic and at times dramatic.

Arriving at our little cabin in the woods, on a bluebird day, was worth it all.

“The feet that take me away from home when I’m restless are the same feet that take me home to secure rest.”

What a change a day makes! From sun to snow. I wish we could visit you! It looks like so much fun. Bummer about the restless sleep. We slept in a tent at 28 degrees in Big Bear for a few nights. That too was rough, and a mistake.
