Australia Part 2: Cruise #1

Mar 15

In a previous post I mentioned that this trip will be in segments or parts. Our next part begins today as we embark on a 7 Night Tasmania & Adelaide Cruise aboard Royal Caribbean's Ovation of the Seas.

Our home away from home is a massive cruise ship with a gross tonnage of 225,282, a length of 1,187 feet, a beam of 215 feet, and a capacity for 6,780 passengers and 2,100 crew.
Based on the line we were in, the ship looks pretty full.

How sweet is our cabin? We are beyond excited for this next leg of our Australian Adventure.

Last night we received notification that, "Along with our Chief Meteorologist, Craig Setzer, we’ve been monitoring adverse weather developing on the west coast of Australia along the route to Adelaide. As a result, we’ll have to skip our visit to Adelaide, Australia, and enjoy an overnight in Hobart, Tasmania instead. Additionally, we will also visit Eden, Australia, later this week where you’ll have plenty of time to explore everything this destination has to offer!" Here's to whatever new adventure we encounter.
