'QUEEN' 45 Years Later...

My very first concert was Queen.

Queen performed at The Forum in Inglewood from July 8–12, 1980 as part of their The Game Tour. The band was originally scheduled to play two nights, but added two more shows due to high demand. It couldn't have been a better introduction to the concert scene for that 18-year-old me.
Since the opportunity to see the real Queen died with Freddie Mercury in 1991, Queen Nation, the undisputed #1 ranked Queen Tribute Band in the United States, was an absolutely fantastic replacement. Actually, Steve and thought they might even be better than the original since they had to try harder. Oh boy did they.

We were spellbound throughout the 90+ minute long concert experience. They have perfected the craft of performing a perfect show of classic Queen songs, some well-loved and some new to us. We were continuously dancing in our seats though Crazy Little Thing Called Love made me stand up and boogie.

Queen Nation is a band of exceptional talent. With Gregory Finsley as Freddie, it became magic!
"You either have the magic or you don’t.
There’s no way you can work up to it."
