Brady's Baby Shower Bash...

The catalyst for our southern sojourn's timing was the celebration of Brady's upcoming motherhood. I would not have missed this for the world.

Hosted at Leslie's house and organized by Brady's sister, Marla, the attention to details was exceptional.
How cute is this "Welcome" sign? The letters are mounted on strung diapers... a gift within itself.
The party favors were bath bombs, candles, cookies and cookie cutters.
The cake was a replica of the one Brady's mother-in-law had for her younger son's baby shower (circa 1980). It was heavy, delicious and gorgeous.
Leslie's home was idyllic.

Karen came up from Vista for the merriment and to take photos.
Brady's nieces were incredibly helpful (pictured her with her aunt Cathy who we met last December).
Brady is pictured with her mother-in-law and her 91 year old grandma. So dang cool.
Pin the Sperm on the Egg: Win a prize if you fertilize. Hysterical.
Cleverness abounded...
 ...As did Mimosas!
Brady's friend, Kimmie, sent a video message from Switzerland. So very neat.
I missed guessing Brady's belly size by 1/2 of an inch or so. I came a lot closer than Brady herself.

This cute outfit was given by my daughter-in-law who couldn't be there.
I think there were, on and off, about 40 wonderful women in attendance. Brady and baby-to-be felt the love!
While there were diverse and beautiful cards, this one was my favorite. Brady grew up on an avocado farm so how perfect is this? Love, love, love it.

that you never knew was empty.”

Everything was perfect.
Thanks for being the photographer, and the cake transporter... It was safe. Safe and delicious.
