Cindy and I first visited this idyllic beach spot, together, four summers ago. We park at Rabe Meadow and hike in, making the effort all that much sweeter with the promise of a day lakeside.
After securing our waterfront property, we inflated our floaties and got our coffee. There is just something special about drinking coffee while gentle waves lap at one's feet. Oh man, I love Tahoe!

We appreciate the amenities this resort offers, especially Beach Bums Cafe's beach towel delivery. After ordering lunch, you are given a flag and the food server finds you and presents your meal. How very cool is that? It's a little pricey but hey, we're at a RESORT... and it truly feels that way.Our lunch of choice was the Mahi Mahi Tacos (3) Plate– "Tender, seared mahi mahi topped with cilantro lime slaw and a Scorpion Remoulade drizzle. Served with a side of cucumber salad." So good.Lake life doesn't get much better than this!
