Music filled the air...

Banda Musicale "Città di Spoleto" has been a part of the cultural scene here since 1499 and when we heard the 45 piece orchestra was playing in the Teatro Nuovo, we were very excited and knew exactly where we would spend our evening.

According to Google's translation of the program:

The band will perform a varied program ranging from symphonic tradition as the Italian opera, the symphony in Algiers, medley of songs by famous performers of the Italian song as Mina and Carosone, songs from musicals like Fame or films like James Bond 007 and original works for band as Medieval Lyric and Rondo Veneziano.

It is hoped in this way that all the musical tastes of the public will be satisfied.  It provides for a pleasurable evening of beautiful music.

Sitting "with the Gods", as our friends called it, was the perfect spot to see the entire orchestra and dance in our chairs without too much notice.  It was a night different from any other.
