Me on Lake Tahoe TV...

I have a new, very exciting volunteer title Publicity Chair for the Lake Tahoe Historical Society. Today's appearance on our local television station was my first duty in my new role.

And what was I sharing with the viewing audience? Excitingly, this Friday and Saturday, from 4-7, the Lake Tahoe Historical Society is providing the community with an evening of History and Merriment. Everyone is invited for a wonderous evening of exploring the History Museum and its amazing historical buildings. Plenty of hot cocoa will be available to keep you warm while Santa will welcome you into the newly restored Osgood Tollhouse.
Holiday in History was started in 2009 by the Lake Tahoe Historical Society as a community outreach event. Just the other day I met a woman who has lived in South Lake Tahoe for 57 years and had never visited our museum. These two evenings are the perfect opportunity to learn more and enjoy so much.

In addition, with five food vendors, there is no need to make dinner. There will be almost 20 vendors offering wonderfully crafted delights so your holiday gift buying should be satisfied. Oh and did I mention Santa? I already have a reservation for sitting on his lap!
This is the youtube link to watch all five minutes of my interview with Savannah. I have been on our local television station two times prior to today. Both times were over a decade ago. After watching my current appearance, I realized I need to brush up on my witty banter and happy facial expressions. Oh well, it was the message, not the messenger, that was important.

We have a neighborhood group joining us for this "like no other event". We are guaranteed to be dazzled by the lights and to be entertained by the musicians. We'll tour the museum complex to learn more about our incredible local history and we'll experience the joy only South Lake Tahoe offers. I can't wait!
