Ski Fun Farmers Market...

It had been a few years since we explored this Friday night institution. What fun it was to return.

"This beloved Friday market is where the heart of South Lake Tahoe comes alive. Stretching along the charming Ski Run Blvd, the market brings Tahoe’s best farmers, makers, musicians, and food vendors for a lively community event packed with good Tahoe vibes. Fridays, 3:00-8:00 pm through September 12, 2025."


One of the delights of Farmers Markets is the opportunity to reconnect with friends you bump into. Laura and Mitch were neighbors of ours when we first moved to South Lake Tahoe. Their booth, TaoZen Designs, was filled with such beautiful things.
They are rockhounds with great talent! Steve even bought my birthday gift (yes, seven months early).
Tahoe Mushroom Company was Nature's sculpture garden. I loved ogling their fungi.


We dined on delicious food in the company of Sharon and Erin. Yes, connections abounded.
We concluded our evening listening to the wonderful tunes provided by Tango + Twang. What a idyllic start to the last weekend of the Summer.
