July 5th was spent mainly playing about the cabin with a nap required. We awoke the following day refreshed and ready for an exceptional Beach Day.

Round Hill Pines Resort has become our favorite lakeside place to idle away a day. It offers on-site parking (if you get there early enough), a secluded sandy beach, lakeview restaurant & beach bar, marina watercraft rentals and yacht cruises, wonderful bathrooms, volleyball courts, and wedding & group patios and picnic areas. It truly has it all.

Armed with my Stand UP Paddleboard, being ON the Lake was the prime activity of the day.

"Stand up paddleboarding: Like walking on water, only better."

The day ended with ice creams dripping as we gazed at the view of the Lake. What a fantastic end to our Independence Day weekend. Wow.
