My cousin and her man...We visited Hope on our trip. My cousin and her man loved it so much they went back and spent the night and the next day and went to the final party before closing in Sept. It was a wild and crazy party apparently. Guess what gift she brought home. Some "intimate" apparel with the name of the town on them... Hope. Cracked me up. I'm assuming the lanes 1...OK - more questions. I'm assuming the lanes 1-6 were lined up for the tunnel. No one was in lanes 3-6. Were they for crowded days? How crowded could it get? And who was Anton Anderson that the tunnel was named after him? I supposed I could just look it up, but I'm so used to you giving your reading public all the history. And the Buckner Bldg - it cost 6 million dollars and was only used for 6 years! And now its been closed for 57 years. You very kindly said it made for an interesting horizon.
