There is nothing quite like a party at 8,000'. Karen invited me to the Tahoe Rim Trail Association's Annual Meeting at the Lakeview Lodge. This incredible venue is located at the top of Heavenly Ski Resort's Tram.

After ascending 2,000 ft to the Lodge, we watched the sun descend upon the entire Tahoe Basin.

Exceptional hors d'oeuvres, a silent auction, chatting with a few acquaintances and an informative presentation about the Trail rounded out our pretty enjoyable evening. I ♥ getting high in Tahoe with my friends!
